Former President Serzh Sargsyan contracts coronavirus

PanARMENIAN.Net - Third Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan has contracted coronavirus, his office said Thursday, January 28, News.am reports.

Sargsyan is in quarantine and won't be going to Yerablur military pantheon to mark the 29th anniversary of the formation of the Armenian army. He has postponed all his meetings and visits.

His staff also revealed that the former President is feeling well and is receiving treatment at home.

Sargsyan's wife, Rita Sargsyan, died from Covid-19 complications on November 20, 2020.
