Armenia denies ceasefire violation on border with Azerbaijan

PanARMENIAN.Net - The Armenian Defense Ministry has refuted statements coming from the State Border Service of Azerbaijan, alleging violation of the ceasefire on the border with Armenia, RIA Novosti reports.

Authorities in Azerbaijan claimed earlier that at about 05:00 on February 2, the Armenian Armed Forces stationed near the "village of Ashagy Askipara of the Gazakh region violated the ceasefire 20 times, firing from machine guns in the direction of the Azerbaijani state border service troops."

“This is an absolute lie,” said Gevorg Altunyan, the head of the department of information and public relations of the Armenian Defense Ministry.
