Pashinyan chairs Security Council meeting

PanARMENIAN.Net - Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan on Monday, March 1 chaired a Security Council meeting on the situation in Armenia.

According to a press release from his office, issues related to the external and internal security agenda, challenges and ways to overcome them were discussed.

Armenia is facing a serious political crisis after the country's top military brass demanded Pashinyan's resignation. The PM, however claimed, however, that he had already dismissed the chief of the Army General Staff. The parliamentary opposition has already weighed in on the matter, urging against bloodshed and calling for a peaceful transition of power.
