Armenia, Iran want coordinated cooperation amid regional challenges

PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenian and Iranian Foreign Ministers Ara Aivazian and Mohammad Javad Zarif stressed the role of coordinated cooperation in addressing new regional challenges in a phone call Friday, March 5.

According to a press release provided by the Armenian Foreign Ministry, the two reaffirmed mutual readiness to further strengthen friendly relations between Armenia and Iran.

They also agreed to work towards a more active political dialogue on different levels, the Armenian side said.

Relations between Armenia and the Islamic Republic of Iran remain cordial and Armenia and Iran are strategic partners in the region.
