Members of the Artsakh parliament have proposed making amendments to the law "On language". If approved by the National Assembly, both Armenian and Russian will be the official languages of Karabakh. The amendment to the law states that the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic encourages the publication of materials in Armenian and Russian, as well as the creation of textbooks, reference books, scientific-methodical and pop-science literature in both languages.
