Henrikh Mkhitaryan out for 3-4 weeks with muscle injury

PanARMENIAN.Net - Midfielder Henrikh Mkhitaryan will remain out of action for 3-4 weeks with a muscle injury he sustained in his right leg, Armenia's Football Federation said citing a letter from AS Roma.

The midfielder will not join the Armenian national team for the upcoming matches against Liechtenstein, Iceland and Romania, the FFA added.

Mkhitaryan has 11 goals and just as many assists in 34 appearances with Roma so far this season.

The national team will play against Liechtenstein on March 25 in an away match, will host Iceland on March 28 and Romania on March 31 in Yerevan.
