Russia not ruling out delivery of Orion-E drones to Armenia

PanARMENIAN.Net - Russia does not rule out the possibility of delivering drones to Armenia, said Valeria Reshetnikova, press secretary of Russia's Federal Service for Military-Technical Cooperation (FSMTC) on Wednesday, April 7, TASS reports.

"Today we have a number of unmanned aerial vehicles for export, in particular the Orion-E reconnaissance complex with a long-duration flight capability, Reshetnikova said.

According to her, Russia is ready to consider the delivery of the drones if Armenia is interested.

Orion reportedly has maximum payload of 200 kg. According to Rosoboronexport, the vehicle is currently being offered for export as a reconnaissance aircraft. At the same time, the combat version of the complex is supplied to the Russian armed forces.
