Armenia–Iran defense cooperation discussed in Yerevan

PanARMENIAN.Net - The Chief of the Armenian Army General Staff, Lieutenant General Artak Davtyan on Monday, April 12 hosted Iran's ambassador to Yerevan Abbas Badakhshan Zohouri and the embassy's military attaché, Colonel Bahman Sadeghin.

According to a press release from the Ministry of Defense, issues of defense cooperation between Iran and Armenia were discussed. The sides also said they attach great importance to the development of friendly relations the two countries share.

Davtyan, Zohouri and Colonel Sadeghin weighed in on regional problems as well.
