FIFA Women's World Cup: Armenia drawn against Norway, Belgium

PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenia have been drawn against Norway, Belgium, Poland, Albania and Kosovo in the qualifying stages for the 2023 FIFA Women's World Cup, set to be held in Australia and New Zealand, the Armenian Football Federation reports.

The European qualification stage for the 2023 World Cup will begin with matches set to be played between September 2021 and September 2022.

The winners of the nine groups will qualify directly to the FIFA Women's World Cup 2023 in Australia and New Zealand. It is the first edition of the tournament to feature 32 teams.

The nine group runners-up will take part in UEFA play-offs from October 3-11 2022 for the remaining two places. The third-best play-off winner will be entered into the inter-confederation play-offs.
