Roma reportedly offer €4,5M/year deal to Henrikh Mkhitaryan

PanARMENIAN.Net - Roma reportedly want to extend midfielder Henrikh Mkhitaryan’s contract for two years, according to sports journalist Nicolò Schira.

The Italian side have allegedly offered him contract until 2023 (€4,5M/year + add-ons). The former Arsenal and ManUnited player will give an answer within 48 hours on whether he is accepting the deal or leaving the club when his contract expires in June, Schira said in a tweet on Sunday, May 30.

New Roma boss Jose Mourinho has worked with Mkhitaryan in the past at Manchester United and, despite their issues together, the boss is said to want to keep him around.

Since joining permanently in 2020, he has managed 13 goals in 34 appearances. Add that to the nine scored in 22 during his initial loan spell with the club and it’s a pretty tidy return.
