Armenian soldier captured by Azerbaijan released

PanARMENIAN.Net - An Armenian serviceman A. Katanyan captured by the Azerbaijani military on on Tuesday, June 8, has been handed over to the Armenian side, both the Armenian and Azerbaijani Defense Ministries reported.

Katanyan lost his bearings due to fog and found himself in areas currently under the control of the Azerbaijani forces.

The Armenian Defense Ministry earlier denied reports from Azerbaijan claiming that Katanyan was a saboteur.
