Lukashenko congratulates Civil Contract on Armenia elections win

PanARMENIAN.Net - President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko has personally congratulated Armenia's Civil Contract party led by acting Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan on winning the snap elections to parliament.

Civil Contract won 53.92% of the vote, while Hayastan (Armenia) bloc headed by second President Robert Kocharyan secured 21.4% of the ballots. "I Have Honor" bloc too will get seats in the parliament.

“Your sense of purpose and dedicated service to the interests of the Armenian people have become the key to success in the most important social and political campaign for the country,” Lukashenko said.

He expressed confidence that cooperation between Minsk and Yerevan in various fields will continue to develop.
