Biden congratulates Armenian people, Pashinyan on

PanARMENIAN.Net - U.S. President Joe Biden has congratulated the Armenian people and acting Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan on "successful parliamentary elections", Pashinyan's office reports.

“Congratulations to the people of Armenia and Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan on successful parliamentary elections," Biden has said.

"Our partnership with Armenia is one of shared values and cooperation on democratic reform and conflict resolution—we are committed to strengthening that partnership."

Pashinyan’s Civil Contract party won 54% of the vote, while Hayastan (Armenia) bloc headed by second President Robert Kocharyan secured 22% of the ballots. "I Have Honor" bloc too will get seats in the parliament.
