New novel about Armenian Genocide published in France
Gilbert Sinoue's "Yerevan" novel about the Armenian Genocide was published in France.

The writer set the scene with an Armenian family pitilessly decimated as part of the first Genocide perpetrated in the 20th century. He starts his novel with description of Armenian massacre organized by Sultan Abdul Hamid.

Gilbert Sinoué (born 18 February 1947 in Cairo, Egypt) is a classically trained Egyptian novelist and guitarist. At the age of 19, he went to France and enrolled in the Paris national music conservatory and was trained as a guitar player. He later gave music classes teaching guitar playing.

He published his first novel in 1987.
