Armenia's U.S. ambassador recalled, sent to UK

PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenia's ambassador to the United States Varuzhan Nersesyan has been recalled and appointed as the ambassador of Yerevan to Great Britain, according to two separate decrees signed by President Armen Sarkissian on Friday, July 16.

Authorities are planning to appoint lawmaker Lilit Makunts as the country's new envoy in the United States.

With another decree, the Armenian ambassador to Indonesia, Malaysia and Singapore Dzyunik Aghajanyan has also been recalled.
