Armenia ruling party unveils nominees for NA President, Vice Speakers

PanARMENIAN.Net - The ruling Civil Contract party has nominated parliament Vice Speaker Alen Simonyan for the post of the President of the National Assembly, member of the My Step bloc Hrachya Hakobyan said on Monday, July 19, Armenpress reports.

Lawmaker Ruben Rubinyan and Former High Tech Minister Hakob Arshakyan are being touted for the posts of Vice Speakers, Hakobyan added.

It was reported earlier that Civil Contract would nominate Hayk Konjoryan for as head of the faction, and Nazeli Baghdasaryan as secretary of the faction.

Caretaker Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan’s Civil Contract party won 54% of the vote, while Hayastan (Armenia) bloc headed by second President Robert Kocharyan secured 22% of the ballots. "I Have Honor" bloc too will get seats in the parliament.
