Covid-19: Armenia infections grew by 194 in the past 24 hours

PanARMENIAN.Net - The number of confirmed coronavirus infections in Armenia grew by 194 to reach 227,716 on Tuesday, July 20 morning, according to information provided by the Health Ministry.
Fresh figures also revealed that 102 more people recovered, while three patients died from Covid-19 in the past 24 hours.
A total of 6299 tests have been performed in the past day, the National Center For Disease Control and Prevention said.
So far, 218,529 people have recovered, 4572 have died from the coronavirus in the country, while 1112 others carrying the virus have died from other causes.
The number of state universities will be reduced from 23 to 8 by 2030, Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sport Zhanna Andreasyan has said.
From September 21 to November 11, a total of 2,820 Russians registered at a place of residence in Armenia, the police has said.
The situation on the contact line between Karabakh and Azerbaijan was relatively stable overnight, the Defense Army says.
