Suren Sahakyan sacked as Armenia's Deputy Defense Minister

PanARMENIAN.Net - Suren Sahakyan has been dismissed as Deputy Defense Minister, according to a decree singed by acting Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan on Wednesday, July 21.

Deputy chief of the Armenian Army General Staff Arshak Karapetyan was appointed a Deputy Defense Minister a day earlier.

The reshuffle came after acting Defense Minister Vagharshak Harutyunyan submitted his resignation, only eight months after taking office.
