Armenian boxer knocks Turkish opponent down twice to snatch victory

PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenia's Argishti Hakobyan (63 kg weight category) defeated Omar Serin of Turkey at the EUBC Schoolboys & Schoolgirls European Boxing Championships on Monday, August 16, the Boxing Federation of Armenia reports.

Hakobyan knocked Serin down twice, after which the bout was terminated.

Armenian athletes have secured at least 10 bronze medals at the European Championships, currently underway in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
