"On August 22, we celebrate the Day of the State Flag of our country, this holiday is recognized to rally and unite all those who are devoted to their homeland, who sacredly value the history of their country, their people," Major General Oleg Yegorov, deputy commander of the Russian peacekeeping contingent, told the personnel. The event concluded with the demonstration of the 50-meter flag of Russia and a solemn march accompanied by military-patriotic songs.
