World Cup: Armenia team in Stuttgart ahead of fixture against Germany

PanARMENIAN.Net - The Armenian national football team has arrived in Stuttgart ahead of their World Cup qualifiers fixture against Germany on September 5. The squad held their first training on September 3, the Football Federation of Armenia reports.

After four games, Armenia are on top of Group J with 10 points, closely followed by Germany with 9 points and North Macedonia with 7. The group winner will qualify directly for the World Cup finals, while the runner-up will advance to the second round (play-offs).

The team was held to a draw against North Macedonia on September 2, and will face Liechtenstein on September 8.
