  Health Minister: No one in Armenia will be forced to get vaccinated September 11, 2021 - 12:31 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenian Health Minister Anahit Avanesyan has said that no one in the country will be forced to get vaccinated against the coronavirus. "We create various filters to restrain the spread of the virus and prevent possible severe course in the event of infection, and deaths. Masks, hand sanitizers, tests, vaccinations, social distancing are aimed at this. We want to make sure that a person won't infect their colleagues and fellow citizens," Avanesyan said in a Facebook post on Saturday, September 11. The Health Minister also weighed in on the observation that the vaccines do not work 100%. "No vaccine, medicine or medical intervention can guarantee 100% results, however, we see doctors, get treatments, are examined, take drugs with side effects, because the risk of not doing all this increases the likelihood of a bad outcome," Avanesyan explained. The number of confirmed coronavirus infections in Armenia grew by 731 to reach 248,397 on Saturday․ according to information provided by the Health Ministry. The last time new daily cases surpassed 700 was in late April.
