EU wants to facilitate contacts between Karabakh sides

PanARMENIAN.Net - The European union stands ready to facilitate contacts between the sides to the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, the EU Delegation in Armenia said on Monday, September 27.

"The EU Delegation in Armenia commemorates the loss of lives and livelihoods, and wishes all the wounded in the conflict a full recovery. We reiterate our expression of condolences to all families that lost their relatives, friends, neighbours…" the EU Delegation said.

"The EU has always pursued peaceful settlements of conflicts. The EU stands ready to facilitate contacts, provide humanitarian aid and continue its assistance of recovery, resilience and reforms in Armenia."

September 27 marks the first anniversary of the beginning of the 44-day war unleashed by Azerbaijan against Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh) in fall 2020.
