Official: Armenia PM ready to meet Azerbaijani President

PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan is ready to meet with Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev, Secretary of the Security Council Armen Grigoryan said in an interview with the Public TV on Friday, October 1.

"We have declared our readiness to meet with the Azerbaijani President and talk. If there's willingness on Aliyev's part, we hope discussions will be held within the OSCE Minsk Group in the near future," Grigoryan said.

According to him, the conflict has not been resolved, as evidenced by a planned trip to the region by the Minsk Group co-chairs. Grigoryan noted that all the components of the conflict need to be settled.

Aliyev said in a meeting with France 24 that if the OCSE Minsk Group of mediators (France, the US and Russia) set up a meeting with Armenian PM Nikol Pashinyan, he would have no objections.
