  Armenia among top three countries by influx of migrants to Russia October 27, 2021 - 15:33 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Russia has predicted a record influx of migrants – 398,000 people in total – for 2021, according to a government forecast, which doubles the migration growth rate for the current year. Armenia is among the top three countries in terms of the number of migrants who have moved to Russia in 2021. In January-July, 20,000 migrants arrived in Russia from Armenia, MK.ru reports. 38,000 and 26,000 migrants have arrived in Russia from Tajikistan and Ukraine, respectively, in the reporting period. According to official data, about 7 million foreign citizens are currently in Russia. Their real number could exceed 10 million - almost 8% of the total population of the country.
