Hambardzum Matevosyan appointed Armenia Deputy PM

PanARMENIAN.Net - Hambardzum Matevosyan has been appointed the new Deputy Prime Minister of Armenia, according to a decree signed by President Armen Sarkissian.

Previously, Matevosyan served as the governor of the Armavir province but was dismissed from the post on November 24.

The Deputy Prime Minister's post had been vacant since November 15 when the vice-Premier Suren Papikyan was appointed Minister of Defense.
