Identified by his initials as S.A., the serviceman was among the five former PoWs who were earlier charged under article 365 – violation of the rules of combat duty or military service, which led to serious consequences. Another soldier identified as N. Ye. is in liberty, his lawyer said. Decisions on the three others haven't arrived yet. On December 4, with the mediation of the Russian side, Azerbaijan returned to Armenia 10 soldiers who were captured during hostilities on November in the south of the country. During a press conference on November 23, Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan said criminal cases had been launched and stressed the need for clarifying the circumstances of each case of captivity.
