Karabakh: Lack of adequate reaction from Yerevan

PanARMENIAN.Net - The National Assembly of Nagorno-Karabakh (Artsakh) has published a statement, maintaining that the neglecting of Azerbaijan's provocations and threats and the lack of an adequate response from the Armenian authorities serves as a "wrong signal for the neighboring country's leader."

The statement published on Friday, January 14 weighed in on Azerbaijan's destructive and aggressive policy in the region, urging the countries co-chairing the OSCE Minsk Group to take practical steps.

According to the lawmakers, the lack of an adequate response from the Armenian leadership, international organizations and influential countries have become a wrong signal for Azerbaijan's President.

The statement slammed Baku's "condescending attitude" towards the OSCE Minsk Group as inadmissible and and blatant contempt of international law and the efforts of the international community.

"In order to prevent new tensions in the region, we call on the Minsk Group Co-Chairs to take practical steps to neutralize Azerbaijan's destructive policy and return those responsible to the field of international law," the statement added.
