Yerevan could serve as a layover point in Syria-Crimea flights

PanARMENIAN.Net - The Syrian authorities are working on establishing flights to Crimea through the airports of Sochi, Anapa (Russia) and Yerevan (Armenia), Had of Crimea Sergei Aksyonov told reporters Tuesday, January 18.

"A flight via Sochi, Anapa, Yerevan is being worked out," Aksyonov said, specifying that he was referring to communication with Syria, TASS reports.

Aksyonov noted that at present there is no direct flight between Damascus and Simferopol, adding that they his government is open for discussions.
