"ARMENIA'S TREASURES - ARARAT MYSTERIES" EXHIBITION OPENED IN HUNGARY CAPITAL
The "Armenia's treasures-"Ararat" mysteries" exhibition opened in Hungary's capital Budapest. Opening the exhibition, president of Hungary Ferenc Madl noted, it is to introduce the Armenian culture to Hungarians and to familiarize them with the Armenian-Hungarian relation history numbering over thousands of years. As reported by "Arminfo" agency, speaking about the Armenian-Hungarian relations, the president noted the important role of the Armenian Diaspora in Hungary's history, the notable support of Armenians during the Hungarian revolution and liberation struggle in 1848-1849. 174 exhibits relating the origin of civilization in the Armenian plateau as well as historical chronicle of the Armenian-Hungarian relations are presented.
