Armenia sets new record with new Covid-19 cases

PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenia has set a new record with the number of new Covid-19 cases registered in the past day.

The number of confirmed coronavirus infections in the country grew by 4388 to reach 379,266 on Thursday, February 3 morning, according to information provided by the Health Ministry.

Fresh figures also revealed that 2359 more people recovered, 5 patients died from Covid-19, while three others carrying the virus died from other causes in the past 24 hours.

A total of 9595 tests have been performed in the past day, the National Center For Disease Control and Prevention said.

So far, 343,714 people have recovered, 8065 have died from the coronavirus in the country, while 1543 others carrying the virus have died from other causes.
