Composer Artur Grigoryan dies aged 63![]() February 4, 2022 - 16:24 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - People's Artist of Armenia, singer and composer Artur Grigoryan has died at the age of 63, singer Ara Martirosyan said on Facebook Friday, February 4. A celebrated composer, Grigoryan was the Head of the State Song Theater of Armenia. On his 60th birthday, he was awarded Mesrop Mashtots medal for his great contribution in music. Throughout his life, he wrote a number of songs that went on to become hits, as well as created and oversaw some large-scale productions and projects. ![]() ![]() The Armenian duduk was registered with UNESCO in 2008 and is recognized all over the world. American actor of Armenian descent Eric Bogosian has been cast in the upcoming TV adaptation of Anne Rice's "Interview with the Vampire". Paris Center Pompidou Musée National d’Art Moderne will host the screening of Sergei Parajanov’s "Triptych" on December 15.
