Karabakh President holds Security Council meeting

PanARMENIAN.Net - Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh) leader Arayik Harutyunyan presided over a meeting of the Security Council on Saturday, March 19, his office reports.

Issues related to overcoming internal and external challenges facing the republic were on the table.

The Karabakh President gave a number of instructions to the heads of state institutions on short-term and long-term action plans.

100,000 residents in Karabakh were deprived of gas for over 10 days, and because the pipeline had been damaged in territories currently under Baku's control, the Azerbaijani military would not allow the Armenian side to eliminate the problem.

The Azerbaijan armed forces were also violating the ceasefire and using loudspeakers to spread panic among the population of Nagorno-Karabakh, attempting to force them to leave their homes.
