  Armenian powerlifters win 7 gold medals at XPC Championships April 16, 2022 - 11:22 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenia won seven gold medals at the XPC Powerlifting European Championships 2022, held in the Polish town of Siedlce. 10 lifters represented Armenia in the competition, alongside some 450 others from a total of 14 countries. In particular, Makar Tamrazyan was named the winner in the 67.5 kg weight category and broke three records all at once. Ara Khachatryan, Karen Hovhannisyan, Hayk Afyan and Gevorg Aleksanyan too won gold. The latter broke two records himself. In the junior section of the competition, Levik Hakobyan and Narek Tamrazyan won a gold medal each. Artyom Mkrtchyan, meanwhile, had to miss the championships due to an injury.
