PanARMENIAN.Net - The Armenian National Philharmonic Orchestra will perform Mozart's "Requiem" at Tsitsernakaberd, the Armenian Genocide memorial, on April 23, the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sport reports.

The ANPO will also perform the choral masterpiece on April 24 too , at Aram Khachaturian Concert Hall. Austrian conductor Günter Neuhold will perform with the Ochestra both times.

This year, on the initiative of the Orchestra, a number of events dedicated to the memory of the martyrs of the Armenian Genocide will be held across the.

One such event will be held in Canada on April 23. Almazian Productions in collaboration with the Ontario Philharmonic Orchestra will hold a concert at the Regent Theatre, Oshawa. The Ontario Philharmonic Orchestra will take part in the concert under the baton of Eduard Topchjan.
