Nations League: Armenia lose to Scotland 2:0

PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenia lost to Scotland 2:0 in a UEFA Nations League match at Hampden Park, Glasgow on June 8.

Armenia defeated the Republic of Ireland 1-0 last weekend but had been thrashed 9-0 by Norway in March.

It is very easy to sum up this. The Scottish team was much stronger than us. We did not have enough confidence in our strength when we had the ball," Armenia head coach Joaquín Caparrós told reporters after the match.

"The Scottish team is physically very strong. We must draw conclusions and prepare for the next meeting."
