Gyumri to host opening of 2023 Pan-Armenian Summer Games

PanARMENIAN.Net - The opening ceremony of the 8th Pan-Armenian Summer Games in 2023 will be held in the town of Gyumri this August, according to a decision approved by the Games' World Committee chaired by Ishkhan Zakaryan .

The summer games will be held in a number of towns across Shirak and Aragatsotn provinces, while the final part of the 8th Summer Games and the closing ceremony will take place in Yerevan.

The World Committee agreed to discuss the organization of Paralympic Games in the future installments of the event. Also, the board members eye the ski resort town of Tsaghkadzor as the host town for the winter games in 2024.
