Armenia in favor of developing dialogue with China, PM tells EAEU

PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan has said that the development of dialogue and cooperation with China is important.

Pashinyan made the remarks at the session of the Eurasian Intergovernmental Council in Minsk and spoke about logistics, which he said is another field that requires digital solutions.

"In this context, I would like to emphasize the need for the member states to work out agreed proposals for cooperation on creation and development of transport infrastructure, multi-module logistics centers and Eurasian transport corridors," Pashinyan noted.

"The Armenian side attaches great importance to the development of dialogue and cooperation with the People's Republic of China in the implementation of the "Belt and Road" strategic initiative."

Chairman of the Board of the Eurasian Economic Commission Mikhail Myasnikovich said earlier that the EAEU countries have agreed on the need to develop the Eurasian transport corridors connecting Europe to Western China. According to him, there is a proposal to build a rail route in the south of Armenia.
