PanARMENIAN.Net - Baku signed new contracts for the purchase of "the most modern weapons," Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev has said, according to RIA Novosti.‌

"We have signed new contracts for the purchase of the most modern weapons," Aliyev said. "These contracts are already being implemented, new weapons and the most modern equipment are being imported into Azerbaijan."

Aliyev made the remarks during a visit to the Kelbajar region, which came under Azerbaijani control during the Second Karabakh war.
