Armenia's first Museum of Illusions to open in Gyumri

PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenia's first Museum of Illusions will open in the northern town of Gyumri on July 6, the Museum said Wednesday, June 29.

Some 50 exhibits based on physics, mathematics and psychology will be showcased at the museum, where visitors will get to see and interact with "magical" rooms.

"We had the idea of creating a museum for a long time; we have studied similar museums in different countries for years. We think it will be interesting for both locals and tourists. We did not choose the city of Gyumri by chance. With this step we want to activate the entertainment life of the city," said the museum co-founder Grisha Amirkhanyan.

Museums of Illusions usually offer attractions featuring various optical illusion exhibits and "smart playrooms" with games and puzzles.
