PanARMENIAN.Net - The State Symphony Orchestra of Armenia, the Hematology Center after Prof. R. H. Yeolyan and IDBank have joined forces for a project which enable donors get a pleasant surprise when donating blood. Each donor will from now on receive 2 invitation tickets to the concert of the Armenian State Symphony Orchestra.

According to Ashkhen Beglaryan, deputy director of the State Symphony Orchestra of Armenia, one of the orchestra's missions is the spread of high values in society. The orchestra does this through music, organizing and participating in various charity campaigns.

"The purpose of this voluntary blood donation campaign, which is carried out in cooperation with IDBank and the Hematology Center, is to contribute to the increase of the number of unpaid donors, to promote blood donation in the society. The orchestra and IDBank have also prepared a small incentive for voluntary donors in the form of invitations to its concerts. We hope that the campaign launched today will be contagious, attracting new volunteers," said Ashkhen Beglaryan.

Head of communication unit of IDBank Tatevik Vardevanyan cited experts as saying that the blood reserves in the country need to be constantly replenished. According to her, the campaign contributes to promoting voluntary blood donation.

"On the one hand, we promote blood donation, which patients need all the time, and not so long ago we unfortunately witnessed the critical need for blood reserves, on the other hand, we provide pleasant entertainment for donors under high-quality music, with the virtuoso performance of the Armenian State Symphony Orchestra. Of course, I am sure that once our compatriots learn about the need for blood, they will rush to donate it, as IDBank and Idram employees do today, but I think they will also be pleased to receive invitations. By the way, as the opening of this event, we decided to provide tickets to our employees as well: together we enjoyed a wonderful evening - Symphonic Mansuryan,” said Vardevanyan.

Samvel Danielyan, the director of the Hematology Center, says: "Blood reserves in healthcare and medicine are decreasing, while the demand is increasing. Today's event, which is an initiative of the Symphony Orchestra and IDBank, once again informs the public that blood donation is extremely important and should be of a daily nature. There is a need for blood in all hospitals that have surgical, chemotherapy, maternity departments, and in order to ensure that demand, the flow of donors must be ensured," said Samvel Danielyan, thanking the donors who replenish the blood reserves.

More information about the conditions for donating blood are available on the Hematology Center's website.
