Javakhk Facing New Challenges conference to be held in GeorgiaApril 10, 2009 - 15:59 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Several dozens of Armenian organizations of Samtskhe Javakheti and Kvemo Kartli have scheduled a conference titled "Javakhk Facing New Challenges" conference for April 16. "The event will bring together Georgian government and parliament members, diplomats and representatives of international organizations," Shirak Torosyan, head of Javakhk association, told a news conference in Yerevan. The participants will discuss problems of Javakheti Armenians. ![]() ![]() Grigoryan added that the situation around the world and particularly in the region is very difficult. The Armenian Defense Ministry has denied Azerbaijan's accusations of violating the ceasefire.
