Azerbaijan says will use Iran to connect to Nakhichevan

PanARMENIAN.Net - Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov has said that Azerbaijan will be connected with Nakhichevan through Iran, JAMnews reports.

Bayramov made the remarks in an interview with Turkish media, published on Tuesday, August 9.

According to the Azerbaijani Foreign Minister, the construction of the first bridge across the Araz River has already begun as part of a road project connecting the main part of Azerbaijan with Nakhichevan through Iran.

"But Armenia has been given a chance not to be left out of regional cooperation. If Yerevan does not make the right decision, then it will be their own fault,” he said.
