Karen Khachanov advances to U.S. Open second round

PanARMENIAN.Net - Russian tennis player of Armenian descent Karen Khachanov, the No 27 seed, advanced to the second round of the US Open.

Khachanov defeated American Denis Kudla 3-6, 6-1, 6-2, 6-2 at the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center in New York City on Monday, August 29, Tennis Majors.

Khachanov, ranked No 31, will face Brazilian Thiago Monteiro next.
