Igor Klimko appointed as ArmenTel Director General

PanARMENIAN.Net - VimpelCom Group announced the appointment of Igor Klimko as ArmenTel Director General.

ArmenTel is a 100% subsidiary of VimpelCom cell-phone operator, offering its services under Beeline trademark.

Igor Klimko replaced Neicho Velichkov, who resigned on Apr. 2, 2009. Newly-appointed Director General will enter upon the office on Apr. 27 2009.



Commenting on the appointment, Executive Vice President for CIS Business Development, Dmitri Pleskonos said, "Beeline has registered high growth in Tajikistan telecommunication market. The company has wider development possibilities in Armenia, where we provide voice and data services through a range of wireless, fixed and broadband technologies. I'm confident that Igor and ArmenTel Team will significantly contribute to strengthening of Beeline position in Armenian market."
