Former Russia midfielder Eduard Bagrintsev moves to Armenia

PanARMENIAN.Net - The Russian midfielder of the Slovak football club Dubnica Eduard Bagrintsev has explained his decision to change his sports citizenship to Armenian.

"I am Armenian and I want to play for my national team, representing my country. My family said they would support any choice I make,” said the 19-year-old.

He regretted that Henrikh Mkhitaryan ended his career in the national team, as he dreamed of playing with him, Lenta.ru reports.
