Russia confirms more of Azerbaijan's ceasefire violations in Karabakh

PanARMENIAN.Net - Azerbaijani troops have violated the ceasefire in Nagorno-Karabakh, the Russian Defense Ministry said in a statement on Thursday, November 24 but did not specify when the violation had occurred.

"The command of the Russian peacekeeping contingent, together with the Azerbaijani and Armenian sides, is conducting an investigation," the Russian Defense Ministry said.

At thirty observation posts, Russian peacekeepers are monitoring the situation and the sides' compliance with the ceasefire, the Ministry added.

The peacekeepers were deployed immediately after Armenian, Russian and Azerbaijani leaders signed a statement to end the war in Karabakh on November 9, 2020.
