Armenia denies shooting on Azerbaijani military

PanARMENIAN.Net - The Armenian Defense Ministry on Saturday, November 26 denied a new piece of disinformation from Azerbaijan.

According to a short statement from the Defense Ministry, the Armenian troops have not opened fire on Azeri units the day before.

The Ministry said in another statement that the Azerbaijani military opened fire on the Armenian troops on Friday. No casualties were reported։

The latest round of fighting between the two countries began in the wee hours of September 13, when the Azerbaijani military attacked Armenian posts and shelled Armenian settlements both on the border and deep behind the frontline. More than 200 people are dead or missing as a result, the Security Council of Armenia said a few days after the assault.
