Opposition party terminates parliamentary activity as MPs resignNovember 29, 2022 - 16:15 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - The opposition party Reborn Armenia has decided to terminate its activity in the National Assembly, with three out of the four lawmakers stepping down. President of the party Vahe Hakobyan, as well as vice-Presidents Hripsime Stambulyan and Yelena Kirakosyan have already submitted their resignation letters, according to a statement published on Monday, November 28. MP Zemfira Mirzoyeva, meanwhile, who represents the Assyrian community, will temporarily suspend her membership in the party and continue her activity in the parliament. According the statement, other party members are free to accept the mandates of Hakobyan, Stambulyan and Kirakosyan though they will have to leave the party.
