Official: 15,000 people obtained Armenian citizenship in 2022

PanARMENIAN.Net - Deputy Chief of Police Ara Fidanyan has revealed that about 15,000 people have obtained Armenian citizenship in 2022.

Fidanyan said on Friday, December 2 that some 3,000, people were naturalized in 2021.

The Deputy Chief of Police also noted that these persons are mostly Armenians, and the process of granting them citizenship is fully in line with established standards.

Fidanyan noted that necessary measures are being taken to relieve the work of passport departments and speed up the service.
